The first event in the speaker series features Imam Abdullah Antepli in conversation with Dr. Elana Stein Hain. Join Imam Antepli and Dr. Stein Hain as they talk about American Jewish-Muslim relations in the wake of Zionism and Pro-Palestinian activism, religious leadership in the context of Israel/Palestine, how Islamophobia and AntiSemitism impact Palestinian activism and Israel advocacy within American religious communities, and their vision for cross-religious collaboration toward justice. 

This speaker series invites religious leaders to talk about how they engage with Israel and how they imagine American Jewish communities’ relationship to Israel.  Columbia graduate students are welcome to attend any and all of the speaker events.
